He starts studying the piano
when he is 3 years old,his first
teacher is Maria Rezzo,and at
the age of six he wins his first
competition at Stresa,as top of
his category.In the following
years he takes part in a lot of
italian and international
competitions and won 50 first
prizes as a solo pianist and in
a piano duo with Elisabetta
Pitotto.
Among his most important
achievements there is the top
prize in Florence in 1990,in the
competition "Clementi-Kawai";the
top prize in 1993 in the
competition Masterplayer in
Lugano;the fourth prize in the
competition "Maria Canal" in
Barcelona (Spain) in 1995 and
the partecipation in the final
trial of TIM (piano sonatas for
four hands) in 1997.
In these same years he his
engaged in several concerts as
solo pianist and in a piano duo
in various italian regions.
In 1994 and '95 he takes part in
a stage for conductors in
Lugano,invited by Maestro
Schumacher,at the end of which
he is judged the best conductors
by the orchestra players.
In the years '95-'96 he devotes
himself to an intense concert
activities,as a solo pianist
with performances in Switzerland
(Lugano,Brummen) in Italy
(Stresa,val Solda) and tous
Indonesia (his native
country)with concerts in
Djakarta and in Medan.
After finishing his studies in
piano and counterpoint he
devotes himself mainly to
composition and to music
teaching.
In 2005 he takes part in the
competition "Strade del Cinema"
in Aosta and manages to arrive
in the final trial and win the
prize of the public,the
following year he follows the
composition stage for
audio-visual aids in
Gressoney-Sant-Jean under the
leadership of Ezio Bosso (the
composer of the music in
Gabriele Salvatores's films).
In February 2007 he is called to
record, as a solo pianist,part
of the soundtrack in the film
"IL DOLCE E L'AMARO" by Andrea
Porporati produced by Francesco
Tornatore,composed by Ezio
Bosso. |
